Swiftwood Sanctuary

We take in all creatures great and small

From turkeys to cows,  horses and alpacas. 

We are home to  many dogs and other animals that cannot be rehomed due to severe emotional challenges arising from past neglect and cruelty. We take it slowly to carefully unpack the 'baggage' that they carry with them. 

We find that once the animals realise there is no fear or force here at Swiftwood Sanctuary they soon learn that humans can actually be very kind and bring them lovely food, cuddles and reassurance.
